The best part of drawing animals anthropomorphized is the optional clothing. An animal may have a shirt but no pants and not be considered semi-nude, it's flat out acceptable. Animals in clothing -- always a win win situation.

Graphic Novel Northwest
Seattlites! Please come see the Graphic Novel
Northwest exhibit at the Shoreline Community College gallery in the
administration building. The group exhibit features the work of several
area cartoonists, including my wife Jessixa. I'm exhibiting two pages from Ouroboros, a graphic novelization of my dreams. It is curated by this year's Eisner winner David Lasky. There will be a reception on November 16th, 5-7pm.

VHS New Wave II: Revengence!

Mini comics at Mercer Street Books
Recently I collaborated with the owner of Mercer Street Books in Seattle on re-purposing a vintage card catalog box that was found at a yard sale. City Arts Fest is tomorrow!
Tomorrow is the opening of CityArtsFest 2012! Jessixa and I were commissioned to do a drawing installation for the show. The project is comprised of 300 drawings that comically surveys the 1971 graduating class of Queen Anne High School. The show is at 411 Union Street in Seattle (in between 4th & 5th ave). Tomorrow (October 17th) 6:00-8:00pm (however, it will go later...).

9/11 at Derek Erdman's Intern'tnl House of Paintings
Tomorrow is the opening of Derek Erdman's International House of Paintings in Seattle. To kick it off he is hosting a 9/11 themed group show. I was invited to make a piece for the show. Please come and support the day that spawned the phrase "TOO SOON!!". Bring phallic shaped foods to reenact this historical event in poor taste!
