Sky Maul

The best part of drawing animals anthropomorphized is the optional clothing. An animal may have a shirt but no pants and not be considered semi-nude, it's flat out acceptable. Animals in clothing -- always a win win situation.

Graphic Novel Northwest

Seattlites! Please come see the Graphic Novel Northwest exhibit at the Shoreline Community College gallery in the administration building. The group exhibit features the work of several area cartoonists, including my wife Jessixa.  I'm exhibiting two pages from Ouroboros, a graphic novelization of my dreams.  It is curated by this year's Eisner winner David Lasky. There will be a reception on November 16th, 5-7pm.

Mini comics at Mercer Street Books

Recently I collaborated with the owner of Mercer Street Books in Seattle on re-purposing a vintage card catalog box that was found at a yard sale. The box now holds the 8 mini books I have created along with two drawers full of hand-drawn greeting cards of various hilarity.  Go check it out if you're in Seattle!

Tomorrow is the opening of Derek Erdman's International House of Paintings in Seattle. To kick it off he is hosting a 9/11 themed group show. I was invited to make a piece for the show.
